About

We invite you to volunteer with the Colorado Lawyers Committee (CLC), a nonpartisan consortium of nearly 80 Colorado law firms committed to expanding opportunities for children, low-income individuals, and other disadvantaged communities through pro bono legal advocacy, negotiation, and litigation.

Last year alone, 1,340 volunteers contributed 12,480 hours, equivalent to $6 million in donated time, across 29 projects and task forces.

What makes CLC unique is our focus on systemic change and major public policy issues, rather than individual representation unless a case has the potential to impact a broader population. Volunteers can choose from short-term opportunities, such as Denver Legal Night, the Hate Crimes Education Program, and the Nonprofit Clinic, or long-term engagement through our task forces addressing issues like education, health, housing, and immigration.

Our task forces bring together lawyers from multiple firms to collaboratively solve legal challenges, providing the flexibility to be as involved as your schedule allows while contributing to meaningful, large-scale impact.

If you want to make a difference, develop your skills, and work alongside a community of dedicated attorneys, we invite you to join the Colorado Lawyers Committee as a volunteer. Your time and expertise can help create lasting change for Colorado’s children and communities in need.
